Our beautiful single-site campus has everything you need, including a 7-storey library, gym and sports centre, coffee shops and places to eat, a mini-supermarket, and even a pub and a nightclub. Unlike some universities where facilities are spread across a city, our campus brings everything together in one place.

With over 100 societies, sports clubs and volunteering opportunities, our Student’s Union has something for everyone – whether you want to try something new, pursue a passion, compete in sports, or develop new skills, they provide fun experiences and are a fantastic way to meet new people.

Hull is famously the birthplace of William Wilberforce, who led the movement to abolish the slave trade, with his legacy preserved at the Wilberforce House Museum in the city. Hull is also a cultural city, hosting the annual Freedom Festival (inspired by Wilberforce), and the Humber Street Sesh, a music festival celebrating local talent. Students can also explore free museums such as the Ferens Art Gallery, which has impressive collections of contemporary and classical art.
