The UK Study Expert (TUKSE) is excited to announce a London Counselor Tour in collaboration with Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) to their members and high school college counselors.
HECA members and high school college counselors will have the opportunity to attend in-person London university campus visits from a variety of London universities from 14-18 May 2023. We are accepting 15 HECA members and 15 high school counselors onto the tour. We are looking for 6 London university TUKSE partners to join us to host the mornings or afternoon visits during the week.

The following are our objectives:

Showcase the variety and quality of London universities

Empower counselors with the knowledge to advise their students on applying to the UK and choosing the best fit institution

Increase the number of applications and US student enrolments at the participating institutions

The UK Study Expert will provide marketing information to HECA and will be available at the 2022 NACAC Conference.

TUKSE will provide the application support and will work with the universities on the selection process of participants.

Participants will be selected based on their application and need. University participation will generally either be from 8:30 – 12:30 or 13:30 – 17:30. Visits will require a meal depending on the schedule. Refreshments are appreciated. The tour participants will have evenings and Wednesday afternoon free to recharge and explore. TUKSE will create material and provide counselor resources from registration to departure.

How the visit structured is based on the university, however, we strongly recommend including the following elements: campus tour, interaction with current US students, a presentation on admissions criteria for US students and information about the current US student population, showcase subject strengths, involve a range of presentation and engagement methods (i.e. not exclusively PowerPoint!).

*Optional & not included in the fees – If your university would like to go above and beyond, we recommend having an afternoon/evening fun activity to showcase your university or showcase London.

University Fee: $2,500 USD

University fees goes towards the participant’s local transportation, lunches if not provided by university and covers staff time and travel. The participants on the tour will also pay a fee to contribute towards the cost of the tour.

Counselor Deposit/Decision/Flight Info Deadline – 15 February 2023

University cancellation policy – 90% will be refunded prior to 15 October. 50% will be refunded prior to 30 December 2022. Cancellations after this date will be non-refundable. Notice of withdrawal must be supplied in writing.
