The UK Admissions Academy is an annual three-day virtual conference run by The UK Study Expert, designed specifically for US college counselors. Each January, counselors join live sessions covering UK admissions foundations, university spotlights, academic breakout rooms, and a dedicated Q&A day. It is the only training event of its kind focused entirely on UK admissions for US-based counselors.
The UK Study Expert is a digital platform with different services and products designed to assist prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as college counselors, in navigating the application process for degree programs at universities in the United Kingdom.
The universities featured in this event are trusted partners of The UK Study Expert.
The UK Study Expert is proud to collaborate with these prestigious universities, which are deeply committed to welcoming and supporting international students. These institutions are not only leaders in delivering high-quality education but are also actively seeking talented students from around the globe, making them ideal partners for anyone pursuing a degree in the UK. Their focus on academic excellence and global perspectives ensures a transformative experience for every student.
The 2027 academy runs across three days instead of two, with shorter daily sessions to reduce fatigue. Day 3 is a dedicated live Q&A day, which was the most-requested addition from 2026 feedback. Afternoon breakout rooms on Day 2 are organized by academic track so you only attend the sessions most relevant to your students. UK Pro Circle community access is now included with every registration, and a dedicated Russell Group session has been added to address the most commonly requested content gap from 2026.
UK Pro Circle is our professional community for US college counselors focused on UK admissions. Starting with the 2027 academy, community access is included with every live registration. During the conference, UK Pro Circle is where attendees connect with each other, share reactions and questions in real time, and access every resource, link, and document mentioned across the three days, all in one place rather than scattered across emails or chat windows. After the conference, the community stays active. You remain connected to Jackie, university partners, and fellow counselors year-round, with UK admissions updates as they happen.
