Overview

The University of Brighton is a friendly, diverse and inclusive community of 17,000 students and around 2,500 international students. We have about 150 American students studying at the university.

Fun, free and forward-thinking – Brighton is based on the south coast of England, just an hour from London (the UK’s capital), and 30 minutes from London Gatwick International Airport.

US Entry Requirements

Pass the High School Graduation Diploma (HSGD) with a GPA of 3.0 overall.

Plus one of the following:
- a score of 1050/1600 on the SAT
- an ACT score of 24+
- two Advanced Placement (AP) tests with scores of three or above (depending on the course you are applying for)
- two SAT Subject-specific Tests (SATS) with minimum scores of 580 in each.
- We can also accept a minimum of 30 US college credits, either attained at college or through successful College Level Examination Programme (CLEP) passes at 50 or above
Please note these are our standard entry requirements and some courses have specific requirements.
4-year Bachelors Degree with a minimum GPA of 2.6. For highly selective courses, a GPA of 2.8 will be required.
