To celebrate Glasgow’s 850th anniversary, scholarships of £5,000 to £8,000 will automatically apply to eligible international applicants beginning postgraduate taught courses in September 2025.

Faculty Scholarships for Academic Excellence
University of Strathclyde also have the following additional merit-based scholarships available for students with outstanding academic record:

- Faculty of Science – International Excellence Awards: £7,000 – £8,000 (Deadline: July 31, 2025)
- Strathclyde Business School – Dean’s Excellence Award: £9,000 – £12,000 (Deadline April 30, 2025)
- Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences – Dean’s International Excellence Scholarships: £10,000 (Deadline: July 31, 2025)
